Problem of the Month | Social Dissonance
April 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Social dissonance refers to the internal conflict between how a person sees themselves and how they are perceived. For example, you might have experienced social dissonance when someone makes an assumption about you based on stereotypes or prejudices the other person holds.
Utilizing human-centered design principles is undoubtedly effective in innovation contexts, but it can also be a powerful tool for navigating such situations. At the end of the April 10th and April 24th sessions, you will walk away with new tools and strategies to protect your inner self and create pathways forward when you re-encounter social dissonance.
