SkyDeck Alum Deepscribe Raises $30M to Solve Physician Burnout
CEO Akilesh Bapu and COO Matthew Ko were named Forbes 30 Under 30 this year. Both graduated from UC Berkeley.
Deepscribe (Batch 8 Cohort) just announced a $30M Series A led by Index Ventures. Deepscribe helps doctors keep digital documentation on patient interaction and deployments using advanced AI. Tuesday, January 18th: iHackHealth Cross-Bay Appathon

The Fung Institute, the Fung Fellowship, and UCSF are hosting iHackHealth: the Bay Area’s cross-bay Appathon! UCSF practitioners have proposed mobile app ideas to improve research, patient care and education, and clinical practice. UC Berkeley students are invited to form interdisciplinary teams to develop these mobile apps as iOS prototypes after an initial virtual kick-off event on January 18. During the two-week development phase, you will utilize Apple's open-source tool kits and iOS developers will provide support. 

At the final event on February 3, the winning team will receive entry into SkyDeck's Pad-13 Program.  To learn more, click here, and join the kick-off event here
